About us
Established in 1996 under the aegis of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) through the Western India Regional Council (WIRC), the Borivali (Central) CPE Study Circle (BCSC) has grown from a small group of around 25 Chartered Accountants into one of the most vibrant and respected study circles, serving thousands of members and professionals.
BCSC is committed to promoting Continuing Professional Education (CPE) by creating a dynamic platform for learning, knowledge sharing, professional networking, and leadership development. Through its diverse range of programmes, the Study Circle helps members remain future-ready while upholding the highest standards of professional competence and ethics.
The Study Circle regularly organises seminars, workshops, conferences, chain seminars, intensive study courses, residential refresher courses, panel discussions, mock events, student development programmes, Union Budget meetings, and various knowledge-sharing initiatives. Sessions are led by distinguished speakers from the profession, industry, government, judiciary, and academia, ensuring members gain practical insights into emerging developments across taxation, auditing, accounting, corporate laws, technology, finance, governance, and other specialised practice areas.
One of BCSC's distinguishing features is its commitment to developing future leaders and speakers. It actively encourages members to share their expertise by providing opportunities to present technical sessions, thereby nurturing confidence, communication skills, and thought leadership within the profession.
Beyond technical education, BCSC believes in fostering a strong professional community through initiatives such as sports events, health and wellness programmes, CA Day celebrations, networking events, charitable activities, and member engagement programmes that strengthen professional relationships and camaraderie.
Operating under the guidance of WIRC of ICAI, BCSC has consistently earned recognition for its contribution to professional education and member development. The Study Circle has received several prestigious awards from WIRC in recognition of its excellence in organising high-quality educational and professional programmes.
