Session 1: Foreign Asset Disclosure Scheme 2026 (FAST-DS)

The Finance Act, 2026 has introduced a one-time window for small taxpayers to regularise foreign income and assets that were missed in their Indian returns, from ESOPs and RSUs to dormant overseas bank accounts and inherited holdings. Declarants pay specified tax or a fixed fee and receive immunity from penalty and prosecution under the Black Money Act. With the window closing on 31 December 2026 and Assessing Officers already flagging Schedule FA mismatches, this session covers eligibility, the two disclosure routes, valuation as on 31 March 2026, filing of Form 1, and practical client scenarios.
Session 2: Recent Judgements in Income Tax Act
Speaker: Adv. Ajay Singh
Judicial precedents continue to shape how the law is applied in assessments, appeals and day-to-day advisory. This session will analyse significant recent rulings of the Supreme Court, High Courts and the ITAT on key issues such as reassessment, charitable trusts, capital gains, TDS, penalty and procedure, drawing out the principles laid down and their practical implications for professionals. The speaker will also discuss the continuing relevance of these precedents under the Income-tax Act, 2025.
